    7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

This workshop will be a conversation with Lynda as we talk about domestic abuse – what it is, how it affects us, and how to walk with someone going through it.

This is a night especially to encourage everyone involved in Care and Prayer ministry at St Paul’s, with the opportunity for discussion with your team at the end of the night. But it’s also open to anyone who is interested from St Paul’s or the wider community.

Lynda is Anglicare’s Family and Domestic Violence Advisor. She has a background in Social Work and Psychology plus years of practical experience as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. She helps families impacted by domestic violence.

Lynda contributed to the Sydney Anglican Diocesan Domestic Violence Task Force and co-wrote the Safe Ministry Training “KNOW Domestic Abuse”. She provides advice to churches to help them build their understanding and capacity to respond to domestic abuse.

This is a free event, all registered participants will receive an email on the afternoon of the event with the Zoom webinar details.
