Baptism and Confirmation
Baptism at St Paul's
Baptism is an outward physical sign (washing with water) of an inward spiritual grace (washing of our sins under the new covenant of Jesus blood).

What should we expect at a Baptism service?
At St Paul’s, we baptise both children and adults.
Baptism is one of two sacraments we celebrate as an Anglican church (the other is Communion).
During our Baptism service, those being baptised (or the parents of children being baptised) will declare their trust in Christ, repent of their sins, and affirm their faith and willingness to obey God’s commands.
Baptism is a beautiful celebration, and one of our favourite things to celebrate as a church family!
You might like to read the Baptism service outlines below to get an idea of the promises and declarations made.

Confirmation at St Paul's
Our Confirmation service is opportunity to reaffirm the promises made at infant Baptism.
At St Paul's, our Confirmation service is held once each year, and is performed by our Bishop. This is a significant and powerful service, recognising the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our young people, who wish to declare their faith in Christ.
