Men

Our men gather regularly to build each other up, make new mates, and serve our church family.
We’re keen to create a community where the men of St Paul’s can grow spiritually, find support and build strong relationships.
Throughout the year you’ll find us gathering for breakfasts with guest speakers, watching the Origin on the big screen, and hosting teaching nights where we get stuck deeper into specific topics.
There are also lots of serving opportunities you can get involved in – volunteering your time is one of the best ways to feel connected here at St Paul’s! Look out for things like Help at Home where we get stuck into some cleaning, maintenance and gardening for those who need an extra hand. We’re also regularly called on to help out with BBQ’s and love having new guys join our team. Make sure you ask a member of staff if you aren’t sure how you might be able to serve.
Small Groups and One-to-One Bible Reading
Small Groups and One-to-One Bible Reading partnerships are at the heart of how we grow in faith and friendship at St Paul’s.

Retiring with Purpose
A growing number of people are entering the ‘retirement’ stage of life. Although additional time for travel, hobbies and recreation can be a real joy, the idea of an endless carefree holiday/life is a myth. These years, if approached well, could be some of our most productive.
it is important that those entering retirement are:
•prepared for the transition
•understanding priorities and pitfalls
•have a clear sense of purpose for their lives – built on a foundation of serving others (Galatians 6:9)
•investing in their health – body, mind and spirit – to live productive lives
•connected with like-minded people/peers and drawing on older wisdom
•focused on finishing well the race of life
Our RWP group meets regularly for lunch, social gatherings and mentoring. We encourage you to reach out if this is something you would like to get involved in!
Once per year we also host a Retiring with Purpose evening event in March, with guest speakers and a particular emphasis on preparing for retirement well.
Stay connected
Our Men's Ministry Facebook group is the way we connect online - a great way to get reminders about events and stay in the loop of what's going on for men at St Paul's.
