Many of our teams at church are playing a part in pastorally caring for our church members.

Our Connect (welcoming) team, Small Group leaders, Youth leaders, and anyone else who has an interest in this area are warmly invited to join us.

Hosted by a skilled trainer from Anglicare, these free workshops will equip us with some basic pastoral care skills such as:

Communication styles

Holding meaningful conversations

Pointers for praying

Self-reflection and self-awareness when caring for others.

How to be “present” with other people.

Listening well – Listening is “loving with our ears”.

…and other tips and things for us to keep in mind as we care for our church family

These are skills that will benefit all of our relationships, and help all of our congregation in helping to create a community of believers who care for each other.

We will hold the same course 4 times this year, so hope everyone is able to find a suitable date to join us. Each workshop is on a Saturday from 2pm-4pm. Please choose just one of the training dates listed.
