A chance for the members of our church to get stuck in and show the property a little love!

We have a wonderful maintenance team here at church who work hard keeping the site safe and clean, however from time to time some of the bigger jobs stack up, and we could use some extra hands to tackle them.

On Saturday 27th August we will gather on-site to undertake projects such as repairing pavers, weeding and pruning, clearing drainage points, general cleaning just giving the whole site a good tidy.

If you can spare some time, we’d love you to save the date and register – more info to come over the next few weeks as we confirm tasks and finalise our project list. But for now, sign up, remind your friends and family, and we look forward to seeing you on the day.

A special request – to make sure we are managing risk and completing the work safely, we require a safety officer for the day. This person will be responsible for conducting a short safety briefing in the morning, ensuring adequate equipment is being used for tasks, making sure people are wearing the correct footwear and protective gear, and generally supervising and making sure everything we do is safe. If you are someone who is trained in this area (perhaps you have a safety role at work, or are a tradie who is aware of best practices) we would love to hear from you.
